Cold at 38 weeks?

im not too worried about having this cold while im still pregnant but i am concerned that it may be a problem if i have the baby while i have the cold...if i have it while hes still inside me does he get the immunity right away or when he comes out can he ge tthe cold from me? i just dont want my baby to be sick because i am!!
