Help!! Should my unemployed husband take his only job offer as a car salesman?

DH was fired in October only making 11.46 an hr, but it got us by. He's been lookin for jobs and has been on unemployment for the last 3 mos. We have an 18 mo old, a baby due in Sept., a $573 mortgage, $286 car note and other small bills. Unemployment is $258 per week and we're behind on bills. He's been looking everywhere, agencies, etc. He's only got 1offer: a car dealership guaranteing $2000 per month for 3 months, then min wage plus commission after that. It's a long shot and a chance, but what other options do we have? I'm a stay-at-home-Mom since having our 18 mo old, but I am looking for part time wrk to help out. Another thing, DH's an artist but can't find any graphic artist jobs in Shreveport. He does freelancing doing t-shirt designs &logos for others, but not consistently. We were going to make a biz out of it, but rite now, bills is all we see & we need money weekly. What to do? We hav all we need to start the biz, but it taks time to build a biz making consistent income.
