Is this chicken ok to cook with?

the package says to use or freeze by feb 1 2009. after buying it back in feb(before the use by date) i immediately put it in the freezer. i defrosted it all day in the refrigerator yesterday but didn't have time to cook dinner with it. is it ok to cook with it tonight you think?
