Mesopotamia essay question!?

Why is she having you write an essay on something that you don't know about yet? Is he/she asking what the technological innovations and trade was? if he/she is, then you can basically just say that because most of mesopotamia was surrounded by rivers that they used those for trade, and that the ancient mesopotamians invented a lot of things that people use today. for example, the yrians invented aqueducts, the Neo-Babylons were the first to have clocks (sun dials), and the babylonians made Hammurabi's laws, which has a lot of laws on it that we still use.
