Why do people give us demeaning stares when we look and feel good?

The same people who give me the demeaning stares are the SAME EXACT people who have put no effort into what they look like.....They look as if they've just rolled out of bed , and threw anything on...wrinkly , oversized clothes that dont even fit them and colors that dont even match . Oily hair...just tacky looking in general .
