Am I being too picky with the roofing contractor?

My husband and I had our roof replaced recently, and although they did a great job on the roof and in a timely fashion, I was not very pleased with the mess afterwards. They did pick up all the materials and nails from the yard, but our porch deck and sidewalks are covered with gravel from the shingles and dried tar. Our siding and downspouts also have many black marks where falling roof material hit the walls during the replacement. Am I being to picky to want them to clean the siding and surfaces? They really did such a great job on the roof itself I hate to make a complaint....
